KIRKBYMOORSIDE Reserves moved 11 points clear at the top of the Beckett League first division after they beat Heslerton in a rearranged game 5-0 on Saturday.
A goalless first half was followed with the Moorsiders getting on top in the second half scoring five goals through Alex Strickland (2), Ryan Rivis, Jack Dowson, and David Gardner.
The Moorsiders also had Jordan Rivis cautioned and Shaun Cox sent off.
Sinnington entertained Gillamoor in a keenly contested game. The first half was goalless as Gillamoor defended superbly in a fairly even half, but the Sinners stepped up their game in the second half as Gillamoor tired. The Sinners gave another solid allround team performance with their second half goals scored by Rob Atkinson, Stuart Wilkinson, and David Wilkinson.
