BAGBY & Balk moved up into third place in the first division of the Beckett League after a 2-1 home win against Rosedale, even though it was visitors Rosedale who took the lead after ten minutes when Jonathan Seller raced away down the left wing, he crossed the ball for Sam Burns to score with a superb shot.

Martin Kendall equalised for Bagby & Balk five minutes later after excellent work by Josh Bointon.

The game was an end-toend affair, it could have gone either waybut 15 minutes from the end Bagby and Balk scored the winning goal when Kendall set-up Olly Brooks to score a fine goal when he shot though a crowded penalty area.

Ryedale Sports Club Reserves entertained Gillamoor with Ryedale 2-1 winners to maintain their fifth position in the table.

Ryedale took the lead in the first half when Seb Rivett set up John Ellis to score, Sean Clark equalised for Gillamoor before half time, Ryedale had the better of the first half, in the second half Gillamoor with wind advantage did much better, they missed several good chances, Ryedale scored a winning goal when Matty Gardner broke free and went on to score a fine goal.

Kirkdale United moved up into second position in the second division after a 2-1 home win against Heslerton Reserves. A game of two halves, Kirkdale kicking up hill with the wind advantage in the first half took a two goal lead with goals by Jonathan Wheeldon following a James Magson cross after 11 minutes, they doubled their lead after 34 minutes when Josh Berry shot but it was deflected into the net off a Heslerton defender.

The second half was a different story. Heslerton pulled a goal back after 49 minutes through Lee Timms but held on for victory.
