A NORTHALLERTON showjumper travelled to London to receive her apprenticeship award.

Laura Robinson, 18, was awarded her British Showjumping Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE) at the London International Horse Show at Olympia last month, by Rob Hoekstra, world class showjumping performance manager.

The Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE), has been hugely successful in developing and preparing talented young athletes aged 16-19.

The first group of students are due to finish their programme in February, and to celebrate their completion of the training camps, Haddon Training invited all of the AASE students to Olympia, where they enjoyed a drinks reception and watched the evening performance from private boxes.
