DURHAM crashed to a 39-run defeat when they lost their five remaining wickets for six runs in 15 minutes at Taunton this morning.

All the wickets went to spinners and at least two batsmen didn't look happy with the umpires' decisions.

Durham lost three wickets to Jack Leach's first eight balls of the morning, two of them to lbw appeals upheld by Paul Baldwin.

Graham Onions was well forward and lingered for several seconds in disbelief when given out, then Paul Coughlin pushed forward and edged the next ball to slip.

Stuart Poynter looked to attack Roelof van der Merwe and took took five runs off the next over, only to fall lbw trying to sweep Leach.

Then in the next over van der Merwe got one to turn and bounce, which meant there was little Mark Wood could do to avoid edging to slip.

Chris Rushworth did the same off the next ball, although he looked shocked to be given out by Martin Saggers. Adam Hickey was left on none not out and Durham were all out for 136.
