Darlington play the first of two midweek friendlies this evening in what promises to be their only game in the town this season.

Quakers go to Darlington RA, who are in Division Two of the Northern League (7.30pm, admission £6 and £3 concessions).

Among Darlington's starting line-up will be Sean Gregan, Phil Gray, Darren Richardson, Amar Purewal, Danny Mellanby and trialist winger Liam O'Mahoney.

Gate receipts will be split between both clubs. Next season Darlington will be based at Bishop Auckland's Heritage Park, where tomorrow's friendly with Gateshead takes place.

Spennymoor tonight take on a Hartlepool United side at the Brewery Field.
