Darlington arrange another friendly

Martin Gray will take a strong XI for a friendly at Richmond Town on Thursday.

Dan Smith and Chris Porter both made their first appearances of the summer on Saturday in the friendly at Glasshoughton and will play at Earls Orchard, as will on-trial striker Steve Johnson, who is likely to sign for the club.

A number of other trialists will play, including ex-youth teamer Liam OMahoney. The game kicks-off at 7pm and admission is £4.

Gray is to make former Middlesbrough trainee Adam Clough his latest signing, pending international clearance as the midfielder has been playing in Australia.

Admission £4, who is kidding who ?. You can sit/stand on the Castle approach paths or view from the banks looking down to the pitch, which is frequently used by dog walkers and is not fenced off. Two years ago Darlo played Newcastle, Boro and Sunderland pre season, what sort of game is this !!!!
