YORK trials rider Tom Hick kept his head while all around were losing theirs to win the East Yorkshire Centre Trial for the second time on most cleans from David Pye.
The pair enjoyed a tremendous battle over two days and 70 sections. In a low-scoring event, they fought every inch of the way as the competition went down to the wire at the last section at Caravan Hill.
Starting from the Flask Inn on the Whitby to Scarborough road, the popular event boasted a full entry of 154 competitors from all parts of the country.
