CLUB Captain Olivia Mulligan was once again in fine form at the Ripon 10 at the weekend, 3rd lady finisher, 48th overall, in 70.29.

Congratulations, Liv. It was an ideal morning for running over this scenic but testing course in and around the Fountains Abbey and Studley park estates, with bluebells in view along the way. Tom Levi, going well just now, was first club finisher, 18th in 67.38 with Olivia next.

Stephan Tomaszewski came 51st in 73.44, Rob Lickley 67th in 76.12, Rob Burn 88th in 78.37, Charlotte Wilton 90th in 78.44, Mike Lowther 95th in 79.31, Lorraine Hiles 106th, and 1st F50, in 80.38. Lorraine, along with Charlotte and Olivia, won the Ladies' Team Prize for the race. Andy Butcher was 115th in 81.58, Martyn Coy 131st in 83.53, Duncan Fothergill 186th in 89.59, knocking a full 15 minutes off his time for the race last year! Peter Richardson finished 241st in 94.32, David Tervit 241nd with chip time 94.19, Geoff Bullock 279th, and 2nd M70, in 98.11, with Faith Coy 281st, chip time 97.51 and Trish Radford 284th, chip time 98.03, Heather Bell 297th in 99.34, Pat Kirby 306th in 100.58, Tracey Lowther 342nd in 105.13, Phillip Craig 360th in 107.20, Alison Butcher 376th in 109.38, Christine Burn 408th in 114.11, Liz Stephenson 452nd in 137.06, Siobhan Woodland 453rd in 139. 32 and Marian Codling 455th in 152.47. It was good to see 25 members at this latest Club Championship race.

Seven members were at the Fountains Abbey Park Run, Rosie Gatenby coming 177th out of 384 in 28.16, Paul Adams, in his 151st Park Run - congratulations - 178th in 28.19, Polly Robson in her first ever Park Run, 192nd in 28.51, Caroline Pearce 209th in 29.55, Steve Isaac 248th in 31.30, Wendy Bennett 347th in 37,55 and Emma Adams 358th in 40.27.

Peter Richardson at Catterick was 74th out of 158 in 28.17 and David Criddle at Clare Castle came 48th out of 104 in 28.04.

The previous weekend, 3 Harriers were at a York 5k, with Rob Lickley 44th out of 96th in 19.39, Charlotte Wilton 54th in 20.47 and Kirsty Naylor 72nd in 23.24.

On a very hot Bank Holiday Monday, Joanne Hunt, at the Tees Barrage 10k, came 289th out of 439 in 61.22.

On the Sunday, a blisteringly hot day, 5 members were at the Tadcaster Triathlon involving a 400m swim in a pool, 17k bike and 7k run. Walter Busuttil finished in 1.06, Stuart Waters 1.19, Diane Brown 1.26, James Stephenson 1.29 and Liz Stephenson 1.47. Well done all.
