Thirsk Open Tennis Champions 2017 Gina Castle-Ward and Andy Foster
THIRSK Open Tennis Championships were held at the tennis club on Sunday in a competition which was established in 1968.
The winners were Andy Foster and Gina Castle-Ward from Ripon Tennis Club.
All the matches were played in strong wind and sunshine but with great spirit.
Among 12 participants, there were players representing Thirsk, Ripon, West Tanfield, Bedale and Harrogate Racquets. Only three games separated the second and sixth places.
