Catterick Golf Club
It was one of the highlights of the year for the club as the Captains held their Captain's weekend
Lady Captain's Day started with a fifties fancy dress, Sue Bingham winning the best dressed prize. Then followed a putting competition won by Sandra Jones. The main competition, a stableford competition was played in difficult windy conditions but the ladies were helped by bucks fizz and cakes served by Lady Captain Paula Hamer at the halfway house. Winner of the trophy was Anne Guy with 38points. Silver division 1st Rachel Miller, 2nd Val Carveth, 3rd Sandra Jones, 4th Anne Moore, 5th Margaret Ferguson.

On Sunday the ladies played 9 holes with only 3 clubs and a putter 1st Tracey Astwood 20 points, 2nd Anne Guy 16 points, 3rd Ann Hargreaves 16 points

Winner of the Captains Cup and div 1 was Gareth Harris 40 points, 2nd and best back 9 was Pip Goodall 36 pts, 3rd and best front 9 Chris Suffell 36pts. In div 2 the winner was Sushil Gurung 41 points,best front 9 Brian Hamer, best back 9 Gareth Taylor.
The longest drive was Bob Baker, nearest the pin John Kirkbride.
