SUNDERLAND youngster Duncan Watmore has penned a new deal at Sunderland.
The 20-year-old has agreed an extension to his existing contract which will see him committed to the Stadium of Light until June 2016.
Watmore joined Sunderland’s development squad in the summer of 2013 from Conference side Altrincham when Steve Bruce persuaded him to head for Wearside.
The versatile forward, who has also played full-back, said: “I’m delighted to commit my future to Sunderland. I’m enjoying my football, I have learned a lot since joining the club and hope to continue progressing and developing my game."
