MIDDLESBROUGH are interested in Bosnian right-back Avdija Vrsajevic.
Head coach Aitor Karanka is in the market for a senior right-back having lost Frazer Richardson, Stuart Parnaby and Jozsef Varga over the summer, but the club failed in an attempt to sign Spaniard Juanfran.
Vrsajevic, 28, currently plays in Croatia at Hajduk Split and the Teessiders are one of a host of clubs considering a move for the defender, who was part of Bosnia’s World Cup squad this summer.
