Jordan Robinson returns for Darlington’s friendly today against his former club Billingham Synthonia.

The versatile player missed last Saturday’s match with Sunderland because he was on holiday, and since then Quakers have also faced a Middlesbrough youth team in a behind closed doors game.

Boro won the game 4-0 at their Rockliffe Park, a match that saw Quakers give a run-out to trialist Craig Lynch, a former Sunderland forward.

Liam Hatch was unavailable against Boro, but he returns today and is likely to spend some time up front due to the absence of Amar Purewal and David Dowson.

Purewal is at a wedding while Dowson is abroad due to work commitments, the same reason he missed the game against the Black Cats at Heritage Park.

Last weekend Hatch was used as a forward in the second half having began the game partnering Chris Hunter at centre-back.

Today’s game will be the last that new striker Graeme Armstrong plays for a fortnight due to a holiday.

Admission at Central Avenue is £5 and £2, kick-off 3pm.

Meanwhile, Quakers’ club shop has taken delivery of the new green away shirts in both adult and junior sizes. The home and away shirts are now available from the Quaker Retail shop at Blackwell Meadows and online at dfconlineshop.co.uk.

The clubs says that Quaker Retail will stock a new range of Avec polo shirts and t-shirts in August, with hoodies and padded jackets arriving in time for the winter months.
