AITOR KARANKA has recalled Jacob Butterfield to the starting line-up as Middlesbrough look to make it three wins a row tonight.
Butterfield looks set to replace Lee Tomlin, who is on the bench, behind lone striker Danny Graham against Birmingham City.
That is the only difference to the Boro first XI which started the 1-0 victory over Derby County on Saturday.
Team captain Jonathan Woodgate, meanwhile, is among the substitutes after recovering from a calf problem.
