KIRKBYMOORSIDE moved to within two points of becoming the Beckett League first division champions after a 5-1 win at Heslerton on Saturday.

Early in the second half Dowson scored a second goal for the Moorsiders to put hem further ahead, but Wayne Pilmoor pulled a goal back for the home side.

However, the Moorsiders added two further goals scored by Jordan Rivis and Lee Nesfield to gain the victory which almost gives them their first division one championship.
