FOUR members of Thirsk White Horse Swim Team have qualified for the English Schools Biathlon Championships which are being held over the weekend of April 5 and 6 at the Olympic Park, in London.

The event is the first competition to be held at the Olympic venues when the park re-opens to the public on the same weekend.

The swim element will be held in the Olympic Aquatic Centre, and the run will be on the concourse in front of the Olympic Stadium.

Toby Price (year 8), Bronwyn Sherwood (year 8) and Matthew Sherwood (year 10) will be representing Easingwold School, while Jasmine Harrison (year 10) will be representing Thirsk School.
