MIDDLESBROUGH striker Lukas Jutkiewicz has joined Championship side Bolton Wanderers in a loan deal until the end of the season.

The forward, a £1.3m signing from Coventry City two years ago, joins the Trotters after they sold David N'Gog to Swansea City.

His departure will free up funds for manager Aitor Karanka to sign a replacement striker, with reports this morning suggesting that Karanka has been given the green light to sign at least one of his targets.
