No problem for Kei despite work permit tweets
NEW MIDDLESBROUGH signing Kei Kamara is expected to make his debut for the club this weekend in spite of work permit issues.
The 29-year-old is on international duty this week in Sierra Leone, and attended the British High Commission in Freetown yesterday in order to iron out what his club described as 'minor paperwork' issues last night.
It is understood that the striker, who moved to Teesside from MLS side Sporting Kansas City on deadline day last week, will have no problem receiving his work permit which will allow him to play his first game in a Boro shirt at Ipswich Town on Saturday.
Kamara, who spent time on loan at Norwich City last season, tweeted: "Fingers crossed. Going to the British High Commission," yesterday, after saying on Saturday: "Now I just need to get that Work Permit so I can join the boys at @boro and get to work."
