Adam Nicholls comes into the starting line-up as one of two changes for Darlington’s game this evening at home to Norton & Stockton Ancients.
He replaces Stephen Thompson, who is suspended, for the game against the division’s bottom-of-the-table side.
Darren Richardson also comes into the side. He replaces Joe Tait, who was substituted at the weekend.
There are two youth team players on the bench for Quakers: Connor Lowes and Andrew White, plus Darlington-born Kerry Hedley who is on loan from Hartlepool United.
Having beaten Newcastle Benfield 4-0 on Saturday, when they scored their 100th goal of the season, league leaders Darlington are looking for a ninth successive win.
A win would give Quakers a 27-point lead over title rivals Spennymoor Town, though Moors would have ten games in hand, one of them they play on Thursday evening.
Norton have lost ten of their past 11 league games and on Monday lost 6-0 at Penrith.
Darlington (4-4-2): Bell; Harrison, Brown, Richardson, Scott; Emms, Galbraith, Davis, Nicholls; Purewal, Dowson. Subs: Johnson, Turns (gk), Lowes, Hedley, White
Norton & Stockton Ancients: Howarth, Lilley, Bell, Harbron, Mulligan, Oakley, Martin, Jameson, Hume, Clarke, Brown. Subs: Seaton, Wilson, Raby
