NORTHALLERTON Town saw their Ebac Northern League Division Two match at promotion rivals Morpeth Town postponed last Saturday and it has now been rearranged for the final weekend of the season in April.

Meanwhile, the club has been drawn away at Football League side York City in the quarter-finals of the North Riding Senior Cup. The tie, at Bootham Crescent, is scheduled for Tuesday, January 8 with a 7.45pm kick off. Entrance is £3 for adults and £1 concessions.

In other cup news, Town have been drawn at home to Division One side Billingham Synthonia in the third round of the Brooks Mileson League Cup, should they overcome Whickham in a rearranged second round tie. No date for either tie has yet been announced.

Town manager Mark Fanning has also been busy in the transfer market, securing the signing of left-sided player Jonathan Burton from Marske United. Burton can play in either defence or midfield and will strengthen the squad going into the crucial part of the season.

Weather permitting, Town will be at home to Tow Law Town tomorrow at the RGPS Stadium, 3pm. Entrance £5 adults, £2.50 concessions.
