UNHAPPY: The majority of residents at Queens Court in Richmond are unhappy about Richmondshire District Council's plans to change the way they pay for their central heating
I WISH to thank your paper on behalf of the residents of Queens Court, Richmond. The article about our meters (D&S Times, June 30) created a fantastic response.
We collected 454 signatures, which far exceeds the 250 that the district council requires.
My thanks to everyone who signed the petition, my fellow residents who helped collect them and to the shops who held forms for people to pop in and sign.
Now, due to everyone’s amazing support we are able to present our petition to the Richmondshire District Council on Tuesday July 25 at 6.30pm.
