DURING the General Election campaign we pointed out Rishi Sunak MP’s voting record and how it is often at odds to many of his constituents’ views On Thursday last week Rishi voted against the amendment to remove the pay cap on public sector pay.
He may also have been one of the Tory MPs cheering when they won the vote.
He’s always keen to say that he’s supporting the Friarage but when it comes to actually helping the nurses and support staff who work there it’s a different matter.
You would hope that Tory MPs would recognise the hardship the cap causes and, after the recent incidents in Manchester and London involving police, fire and hospital services, recognise it is time to remove the cap.
