CHARITY BALL: Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council's Mayor Councillor Vic Jeffries is hosting his major civic fund-raiser, the annual Mayor's Charity Ball, at Gisborough Hall on Thursday, April 24, 7pm for 7.30pm. DOG CHIPS: Dog owners are invited to a free microchipping session at Middlesbrough’s Albert Park this Saturday. The event, in partnership with the Dogs Trust, the Middlesbrough and District Dog Training Association and Albert Park Dog Walkers, will be held at Albert Park Pavilion from 11am to 3pm. In addition to free microchipping, dog owners will be offered free training advice, demonstrations and the opportunity to enrol on canine courses.
