CHARTER GRANTED: Ryedale District Council has been awarded a Local Government Yorkshire and Humber Member Development Charter. It is the first time the council has applied for charter status and required officers and councillors to provide a large amount of evidence through the assessment process. It recognises the council’s investment in development for its councillors and the support it gives them.
NEW STORE: Furniture-maker Multiyork is opening new premises in Harrogate on March 16. The store has teamed up with furniture-maker Feather & Black to open the new store. The business will be moving from Parliament Street to larger premises on Station Parade.
