PEOPLE in Hambleton and Richmondshire are being asked for their views on the Local Council Tax Reduction Scheme which came into force on April 1.
The scheme replaced the previously council tax benefit and both authorities are now reviewing their schemes for next year and need to know whether any changes should be made.
A six-week consultation exercise starts on September 2 and continues until October 13.
Residents are encouraged to give their views by completing the consultation form online at richmondshire.gov.uk/surveys/lcts or hambleton.gov.uk/surveys/lcts
Alternatively, paper copies are available at any of the council offices or by telephoning 01748-829100, 0845-1211-555 or 01609-779977.
