Renewed appeal for information about fatal A167 crash

POLICE have renewed an appeal for witnesses to a crash that killed a Darlington man at the weekend.
Billy Hardman, 33, suffered fatal injuries when his VW Caddy van was involved in a collision with a Ford Transit minibus while travelling on the A167, in Beaumont Hill, in Darlington, at about 11.50pm on Saturday. (October 20) Police initially reported that Mr Hardman was called William Peel, but his family have since asked that it be made clear he was known to friends and family as Billy Hardman.
Witnesses to the crash or anyone with information is asked to call Darlington Police on 101.
