Stokesley two-year-old home alone after locking parents out of house

A TODDLER found themselves home alone last night after locking their parents out of the house.

Fire crews were called to a house in Hebron Road, in Stokesley, shortly after 9pm yesterday after reports that a two-year-old was trapped inside.

The parents had stepped outside the house for a cigarette when the child managed to close and lock the back door with the oven on.

Fire crews removed a pain of glass to get into the house through a window.

A spokesperson for the North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The parents were reunited with the child but unfortunately the dinner was burned".

I think thats the childs way of saying to the parents, pack in smoking n get your priorities right, lol. Coz, whats more important, both going out for a fag or lookin after their bairn properly, honestly what a couple of cranks!! lol.
