Locals have been put on the alert and asked to keep their eyes peeled for a snake that's believed to be on the loose.
A female, black and white California King Constrictor - some three-and-a-half feet long - escaped from a house in The Crescent, off Blossom Street on Monday night.
Sadly, unless it has found somewhere warm to shelter, it could have died because of the cold weather.
The creature is not poisonous or aggressive and anyone who sees it should contact the police on 101.
King snakes are not poisonous or aggressive and pose little risk to humans.
Police are appealing to anyone who sees the snake to contact them on 101.

Horrific story coming in at the North Yorkshire office about a cat that was shot dead in Topcliffe, near Thirsk.
The pet had been shot with pellets from a BB gun at least 10 times and police are appealing to the public to help find whoever was responsible.
Anyone with information is asked to call Thirsk police on 101, choose option 2 and ask for Duncan Pears.
