TAKEN FROM CAR PARK: The modified Land Rover TAKEN FROM CAR PARK: The modified Land Rover

A LAND Rover owned by a soldier has been stolen.

Police issued photographs of the modified, short wheelbase Land Rover 90, taken from a car park at Helles Barracks, Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire, between September 29 and October 4.

It is green with a white roof and was modified by the owner – who added windows, snorkel exhaust, upgraded gearbox, black steel wheels and galvanized chassis.

PC Mark Reed said: “I’m hoping the photographs will jog someone’s memory.

“The vehicle is worth a lot to its owner, who has put a lot of work into customising it.”

Police are appealing for anyone with information to call 101, select option two and ask for PC Reed, or call Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.
