Woman injured in two-car collision

A WOMAN was taken to hospital this morning following a collision between two cars.
The accident happened shortly before 7am at Longwood Bank, between Richmond and Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire.
The female driver of a blue Renault Clio suffered a suspected broken arm and was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital.
The male driver of a silver Vauxhall Corsa was not thought to be seriously injured.
The road remained closed at 10.30am this morning and was not expected to reopen for several hours.
