You would think in a 30 mph area it would be hard to have such a serious crash

Hope the lady is OK

The aggregate speed of both objects, ie both cars doing 30mph would give an aggregate speed of 60mph (I think?) can cause a lot more damage than you imagine, this is the message the police are constantly giving out to motorists.
I too hope the lady is OK

So if one was say doing 25 and other doing 35 does that mean they are still doing 60 but then of course the person whom was doing 35 is breaking the national speed limit but then again nobody knows for sure what speeds they where going cause its not mentioned...my head hurts thinking about it I need a little lie down...hope both are fine though and make a speedy recovery

Depends where about on Grange Road because doesn't it go into 60mph upto the blackwell roundabout?

Aggregate speeds do not cause the equivalent single speed damage. IE, 2 x 30mph head on would not cause the same damage as a single car doing 60mph.

Who say's a life watching Mythbusters is wasted!

Smart @rse - go on, say it!

Anyway, I too hope they are OK.
