Woman hurt in two-vehicle crash near Richmond

THE road between Richmond and Brompton-on-Swale, North Yorkshire, was closed for a short time in the Easby area tonight after a two-vehicle accident.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, which sent one crew to the scene, said one woman suffered minor injuries and no-one was trapped.
Emergency services were called shortly before 5pm.
North Yorkshire Police were unable to provide further details of the incident.
