This chap had no legal right to be there.
The air ambulance is a charity, and there having to spend donations for someone who was braking the law.
Lets hope the police charge him, and the Air Ambulance gets compensation for rescuing an illegal off road motorcyclist.
Thank goodness he injured him self and not a third party, as he will not have been insured.

exuse me? but this man is my brother and ill have you know he was on a OFF ROAD bike which means riding it on a field is ALOUD! so keep you negative comments to yourself. hes lucky to be ALIVE. and you don't even know that your 3year old & 6 year old son seen their dad is some kind of state they can't even recognise him. so keep your horrible opinions to yourself! you heartless waste of space. just sit and think exactly what me and the rest of my family have been through. getting told off the nurse/doctor that he might not have even made it!

Just because the incident occurred in a field does NOT mean that he was allowed to ride there, unless of course you have the permission of the owner of that field. Did he? If he did NOT, which both myself and NO EINSTEIN consider to be the case, then he was trespassing and both you and he should be ashamed of your disregard for the property of others, and quite frankly should be paying for the helicopter and treatment he received as a result of the activities done whilst trespassing.
.
Also, if it was the case that he didn't have permission to be on this private land, it suggests that he doesn't actually have anywhere to legally partake of the activity of off-road biking. So I would ask why has he got an off-road bike at all? Isn't that like buying a lorry knowing you don't have an HGV license and that you'd have to break the law to drive it!
