Witnesses sought to fatal road crash

POLICE are seeking a witness to a fatal road crash in the region in which a 23-year-old man died who may have vital evidence.
The accident took place on the A61 at Hutton Conyers, near Ripon, in North Yorkshire, on Monday, November 30, at 6pm.
The rider of a red and white Yamaha was in a collision with a white Mercedes van as it turned right and he was then struck by a green Volvo.
The driver of the Volvo, a 61-year-old man from the Ripon area, was arrested but later released on bail.
The police are keen to talk to a women in P-reg Citroen Saxo who was driving towards Ripon from the Melmerby junction.
It is thought she saw the crash but could not stop and she may have important information for the police.
Officers would also like to speak to anyone who saw the manner of driving of all three vehicles prior to the collision.
