KIDS in Ryedale can take part in a range of activities to keep them entertained during the summer holidays.

York Playspace has a programme of activities, including arts and crafts and sports, across the area each week from July 27 to August 21.

Each daily session runs from 10am-4pm and costs £10 per day for the first child, and £9 per day for each sibling.

York Playspace will also bring Play Rangers to playing fields and open spaces around Ryedale.

The scheme has been funded by the big lottery and is completely free to all children.

Sessions are aimed at age ranges of five-13 years, of all abilities.
