Bedale Cricket Club was thrilled to receive a donation from the Beresford-Peirse-2610 Masonic Lodge towards purchasing junior equipment as they move up from soft ball cricket to the hard ball game.
Ben Braithwaite, master of the Lodge, David Oakes, secretary of the Lodge and Paul Croft, Club Secretary and Junior Coach, Bedale CC, attended a cheque presentation.
The indoor training sessions for the women's and junior teams will start in January at Bedale High School Sports Hall, access via the leisure centre, and the club welcomes new and existing players. All sessions run by ECB qualified coaches.
The club has organised another fund raising Christmas Fayre at Bedale Sports Club and Community Centre on Friday, December 1 between 6pm-9pm
