Author and businesswoman Hannah Russell has brought out her 19th book, and it sold out in just 24 hours.

Hannah is best known for her series of books based on her best friend, miniature Shetland pony Little Alf, and has also written fictional stories based on her sheep and other animals.

Her new book "Bumble the Bunny – Life at Swinton Green" is based on her pet rabbit, and was released at the start of March for world book day, selling out within a day.

The book tells the tale of a bunny who goes around the farm where he lives and visits the other animal residents including Little Alf, getting up to lots of mischief along the way.

Hannah said: “It’s been great to release a new book, I can’t believe I’m on number 19 now, time goes so fast. This new book has been inspired by my own bunny Bumble who is a rescue bunny. The story is based around my home at Swinton Green in Masham, although a fictional story.

“On world book week I visited lots of schools and groups to gives talks on the new book and life as an author, it was lovely to see it sell out in a day.”

Hannah runs a blog and business online called "Hannah, Little Alf and friends" and has thousands of followers across the globe, reaching millions of people each month through her online presence.

Bumble the bunny first came to live with Hannah in 2018 when she adopted him from a local centre. His name Bumble came from his unusual colours, he is striped black and tan like a bumble bee.

Hannah is planning to open up a visitor centre this Spring at her home, where she will offer workshops and experience days with the animals.
