The popular afternoon tea service is returning to the Wensleydale Railway this month.

Passengers can experience a scenic journey through the Yorkshire Dales between Leeming Bar and Leyburn whilst being served a glass of fizz and enjoying a selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes, plus unlimited tea and coffee.

This year’s service begins with a Mother’s Day tea train on Sunday, March 19. The railway will also have afternoon tea trains available on April 9, June 18, July 30, August 20 and October 15.

The tea trains depart Leeming Bar at 2.30pm and the journey lasts about two hours. Due to engineering work, the Mother’s Day service will start and finish at Bedale.

We regularly receive great feedback from our tea train events and places always get booked up extremely quickly.”
