BEDALE and Aiskew Runners hosted the second Christmas 5k and one-mile Santa Fun Run just before Christmas, taking in the beautiful surroundings of Bedale Park and the woodland trail of keeper's walk ,
The event saw more than 200 entries over both races. In the fun run, children and parents made short work of the one-lap multi terrain course, many wearing Christmas outfits and costumes, while the 5k had a mixture of serious runners and festive fun runners.
Josh Hammett and Jo Adams finished first and smashed the male and female course records.
