A GALLERY in Richmond is gearing up for its biggest exhibition of the year which sees more than 80 artists, photographers and sculptors get involved.

A Spot on the Wall at the Station, Richmond, is an annual event which fills the walls and cabinets of the building with an extensive collection, all for sale with prices starting at £30.

Gallery co-ordinator Thea Treweek said: “When a piece of art is sold from the artist's spot, they replace it with another. This is great for the artist, as there are virtually unlimited opportunities for sales, but it is also great for visitors, as the exhibition looks different every time."

The Station is also encouraging children to become exhibiting artists by designing their own ‘spot’ to display in the gallery.
