A DISQUALIFIED driver has been arrested at a drugs firm's factory this morning following a police search.
Officers from Durham Police are searched the GlaxoSmithKline site, in Barnard Castle, after they discovered the man in a vehicle just before 9am.
The man, 23, ran away from the officers in the direction of the factory.
A Durham Constabulary spokeswoman said: “Officers in Barnard Castle came across a disqualified driver in a vehicle at around 8.50am this morning.
“When approached by officers, the man made off towards the perimeter of Glaxo SmithKline where a search took place.
“A 23-year-old man has since been arrested.”
