Marks and Spencer in Darlington is under the threat of closure
MYSELF and many others don’t see why Darlington Marks & Spencer should close.
Whenever you go in, the food department it is always busy with queues at the tills, and the food is always first class, whatever you buy.
If the food department was extended to where the fashions are they could get in a better meat section and bakery, and also extend the café which is small and always full.
M&S is moving to West Park which is too far away for most pensioners to shop. If one has no transport, it means two buses, which is too much for most pensioners to do.
