THE bosses of a popular ice cream parlour have taken on another tourist attraction.
Brymor, one of the most famous independent ice cream makers in Yorkshire, has taken over the running of the award-winning Easingwold Maize Maze.
The 16-acre Maize Maze is a popular North Yorkshire visitor attraction, and the move will complement the ice cream parlour at High Jervaulx Dairy, near Leyburn, which attracts around 300,000 visitors a year.
They produce 24 different flavours of ice cream and managing director Paul Hodgson is looking forward to the launch of this latest venture in Easingwold.
He said: “Our aim is to ensure Brymor Ice Cream becomes the dominant brand in Yorkshire and the North East and we are excited about the opportunities that taking over the popular maze will give us." The Maize Maze will open on Monday, July 16 until Sunday, 2 September 2 and will feature its maze and activities including footgolf, go karts, giant inflatable slide, sand pits and picnic area.
A family ticket will cost £25 for four people with adult tickets £8 and concessions £7.
