Tickets are still available for several events, including the concert by the Hallé Orchestra at Tennants Garden Room in Leyburn on Saturday, June 9.

Sherwoods (Vauxhall) of Darlington is providing vehicles for the 15th year running to make the logistics of the festival possible and the company is the sponsor for the Sacconi Quartet & James Gilchrist string quartet's performance with one of the world's greatest tenors on Sunday at St Andrew's Church, Grinton.

Half-term events for children continue tomorrow with Slot Machine Theatre's magical performance of The Boy, the Piano & the Beach at Influence Church, Richmond.

One of the country’s top performers on the English concertina will perform in Reeth on Thursday, June 14.

Steve Turner, who has been described as having "one of the best voices in the business" is a multi-instrumentalist, playing cittern, mandolin and banjo, but is best known as a pioneer of sophisticated concertina song accompaniments, stretching the boundaries of traditional forms.

He will perform in Reeth Memorial Hall; doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start. Tickets are £10 in advance, £12 on the door, under-16s half-price from Reeth post office or John Little on 01748 884759.

All profits are in aid of the hall. Full details are on the website reethmemorialhall.co.uk.
