THE music of a world-renowned singer-songwriter will play out to an audience in County Durham this week.
The Manor House, in Sedgefield, will welcome acclaimed musician Keith James for an intimate concert of The Songs of Nick Drake on Saturday.
Playing in the 18th-century building’s Old Court Room, the gig will mark the singer and guitarist’s return following his last performance in October last year when he delivered a set of songs by the legendary Leonard Cohen. Marie Walker, events manager for Manor House 1707, said: “Keith James is a very highly regarded live performer and this time around audiences are in for a real treat thanks to his haunting interpretation of the amazing back of Nick Drake and other legendary songwriters.”
Tickets for the concert are priced at £15 per person, plus a booking fee.
