MARKETS in Hambleton are on the up - thanks to a major promotional campaign led by the district council’s Vibrant Market Towns project team.
The weekly markets in Bedale, Easingwold, Northallerton, Stokesley and Thirsk - and monthly Farmers Markets in Stokesley and Easingwold - are all benefitting from the initiative.
It has seen a rebranding exercise and promotions through a range of channels including a new website page hambleton.gov.uk/markets.
So far 25,000 new leaflets have been delivered to households across the district.
The leaflet is also available at Tourist Information Centres and venues throughout the region.
Cllr Isobel Sanderson, portfolio holder for governance, said: “This campaign is highlighting the benefits and importance of Hambleton markets – both to local residents and visitors.”
