THE two top-priced bulls were sold at the annual Blonde Society Early Spring Show and Sale held at Carlisle on Friday of last week.
The junior overall male and supreme champion, Hilltop Manup from local breeders Andrew and Kelly Stott went for 3,000gns to John Pridgeon from Louth, Lincolnshire.
This son of Ark Diego is out of the Megray Senator sired Hilltop Champagne.
Also selling for 3,000gns was the junior reserve male champion, Hallfield Mario.
Consigned by P Weightman and Sons from Peterlee, this bull is sired by Ardmore Fugitive and out of Hallfield Isabel, and was purchased by Ian Woodhead from Thirsk.
