AN exclusive black-tie event to mark a local hospice care charity’s silver anniversary year will take place next month.

Herriot Hospice Homecare will mark 25 years of providing hospice care by holding a dinner at the Crathorne Hall Hotel, Yarm, on March 10.

Guests will be welcomed with drinks and music provided by a harpist, before sitting down to a sumptuous three-course meal.

Guests will be able to bid for auction lots, including a private dinner with vet, Julian Norton from the TV series "The Yorkshire Vet", and a VIP tour of the House of Lords with afternoon tea. To close the evening, there will be a performance from a live band.

Hospice chief executive Tony Collins said: “This year Herriot marks a quarter of a decade at the heart of the local community. This prestigious event offers local people the opportunity to share this special milestone with us, while enjoying an evening of luxury and entertainment.

Tickets are £85 per person, or £800 for tables of 10. For more contact 01609-777413 or email fr-team@herriothh.org.uk
