AN exhibition showcasing the work of two close friends will celebrate the start of spring.
The Station in Richmond will display work from Victoria Bellas Carter and Suzanne Tweddle from Saturday, March 3 until Wednesday, March 14.
Ms Bellas Carter will launch her collection of original tissue paper collages along with bespoke products including coasters, china mugs, greeting cards, sketchbooks and journals.
Her studio, within Eggleston Hall Gardens, inspires her love of the natural world.
Ms Tweddle works from her studio in Barnard Castle, where she designs and makes glass beads, buttons, baubles and jewellery.
She uses a technique known as lampworking – making small objects from glass rods melted in a flame.
Ms Bellas Carter said: “We met through our village toddler group when our children were babies. We got talking about our quite unique artistic flairs and have been exhibiting together ever since.”
