A NEW homework club is offering free after-school help to children in Richmond.
The club, for youngsters aged between seven and 16, is held at the Influence Church between 4pm and 6pm on a Thursday during school term time.
It is run by Jemma Holliday, who has had ten years of teaching experience, and a team of volunteers.
Ms Holliday said: “There are many things that can impact children’s ability to do their homework – organisation, lack of resources, time and other personal and social issues.
“Homework club aims to change that.”
The club also offers fun activities, craft and quizzes and there will also be special SATS blast booster sessions for KS2 children coming soon.
Primary age children need to be signed in and out by an adult.
